Grid2Home Raises $2.6M

San Diego-based Grid2Home, a smart grid software developer, says it completed a second round of funding led by Granite Ventures that will enable the company to take its software into production to meet the demands of its growing customer base. The company did not disclose the amount of funding, but a regulatory filing yesterday shows Grid2Home raised almost $2.6 million of a planned $3.1 million in equity investments. Grid2Home’s software, provides two-way data communications from a meter to “smart” household appliances and electric vehicles.
