Sandrew is internationally recognized as a digital imaging expert with more than 14 VFX patents and 23 years of feature film and TV accomplishments. Sandrew invented the first all-digital process for colorization in 1986 and the reinvented process in 2001 at Legend3. In 2005, Sandrew advanced this technology to develop an innovative approach to adapt colorization technology to convert feature films from 2D to 3D.
