Qualcomm Invests in Anteryon

San Diego-based Qualcomm says today its European venture arm has led a new round of funding for Anteryon of Eindhoven, the Netherlands, a 2006 spinoff from Philips that makes wafer-based optical modules for mobile phone cameras and laser projection. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. Existing shareholders BNP Paribas Private Equity and Biggell Finance joined in the round, along with another new investor, Quest for Growth, a Belgium-based fund.
