TuneSat Takes in $6 Million
New York-based TuneSat has scored a $6 million funding round to support its fingerprinting technology, according to a press release. The company’s technology allows the holders of music rights to track the use of their music on TV and the Internet. BMI composer and producer Scott Schreer founded the company. The funding round was led by General Electric Pension Trust, with participation from Scott Jones, founder and CEO of ChaCha, and several existing TuneSat investors.
