Isaac Barchas is the director of the Austin Technology Incubator since 2006, which he joined after eight years with McKinsey & Company. There, he focused on business building (start-up and spin-out support) in industries such as biotechnology, software, wireless telecoms, and Internet retail. He is active in the Central Texas technology ecosystem, serving on boards including that of Pecan Street Project, 3-Day Startup, and the Texas Emerging Technology Fund. Barchas is a Stanford undergrad, with a University of Chicago masters and law degree, but an honorary UT Longhorn.
