From the event organizer:
“WSTS 2014 will celebrate some of the groundbreaking research occurring throughout the state, and offer attendees the opportunity to connect with some of the brightest minds in Wisconsin.
We are pleased to announce our keynote speaker for WSTS 2014, Zach Halmstad. Mr. Halmstad is co-founder and co-CEO at JAMF Software, founded in 2002. He has an exciting story to tell as an Eau Claire native and former music major at UW-Eau Claire. Mr. Halmstad’s continued commitment to the city of Eau Claire shows with a current office housing 150 of JAMF Software’s 300 employees, and ongoing construction on a new office space in the downtown area.
In addition to Mr. Halmstad, we are very excited to hear remarks from Ray Cross, President of the University of Wisconsin System, James C. Schmidt, Chancellor of the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire and Patricia A. Kleine, Provost and Vice Chancellor for UW-Eau Claire.
We hope that WSTS 2014 will give attendees a new perspective on UW System research at the comprehensive campuses, while also facilitating partnerships and connections across campuses and industries.”
