Intelius Withdraws IPO

Bellevue, WA-based Intelius, an online background check and information commerce company, has withdrawn its IPO, according to a regulatory filing. The company filed for a $143 million initial public offering in January 2008, according to the Seattle PI. In a statement, Intelius said it did not appear that the public offering would be made in the foreseeable future. In August, the company was involved in a legal dispute, in which it agreed to pay a $1.3 million settlement.
