Redmond, WA-based Microsoft (NASDAQ: MSFT) has participated in a $50 million Series C investment round for AppNexus, a New York-based maker of display advertising software, according to a press release yesterday. Other investors in the round include Venrock, Kodiak Venture Partners, and First Round Capital.
