Modumetal Wins ACA Award

Seattle-based Modumetal, a nanotech and advanced materials company, has won the inaugural Luis Villalobos Award for “the most ingenious and innovative idea” recently financed by a member angel group of the Angel Capital Association. The award, named after the founder of Tech Coast Angels, was announced in San Francisco today at the 2010 ACA Summit. Modumetal is led by CEO and co-founder Christina Lomasney. Its investors include Seattle-based Alliance of Angels, Second Avenue Partners, and WRF Capital.
