iPhone Goes Bing

Microsoft announced yesterday that Bing search is now available as a free app on the iPhone and iPod Touch. It includes features like voice search, news, maps, and other location-based services. Bing is already available on BlackBerry, Windows Mobile, and a few other mobile platforms. The move to Apple’s iPhone signifies the importance of mobile search (even on a competing device) in Microsoft’s competition with Google.
