Gregory T. Huang12/3/09

Seattle-based Wetpaint, a social publishing startup, has laid off nine employees today, as part of an unspecified refocusing of company resources, according to TechFlash. The company laid off 15 staffers in July, and is now down to about 30 people, according to the report, which says co-founders Kevin Flaherty and Alex Berg are among the cuts. Company management was not immediately reachable for comment. Wetpaint was founded in 2005 and has raised about $40 million in venture funding from DAG Ventures, Accel Partners, Frazier Technology Ventures, and Trinity Ventures.
