Appature Offers Sentiment Analysis

Gregory T. Huang9/30/09

Seattle-based Appature announced late yesterday that it now provides “sentiment analysis” that lets healthcare marketers understand people’s feelings (positive or negative) about their brand, or other topics in their industry, from blogs and social media. Together with the rest of Appature’s marketing software, companies can do things like search against information in their Appature database about customers and prospects. Back in June, Appature released a Twitter search engine called Chatterfly. The company was founded in 2007 and is currently bootstrapped and profitable.
