Cray Inks $40M Korean Contract

Seattle-based Cray, the supercomputing company, announced today it has signed a multi-year contract with the Korea Meteorological Administration worth more than $40 million. Cray (NASDAQ: CRAY) will deliver a next-generation supercomputer (capable of more than 600 trillion calculations per second), as well as service and support, to the Seoul-based weather forecasting and climate research organization. Delivery and acceptance of the supercomputer are expected in 2010.
