Accessing Stimulus Dollars: Successful Case Studies

06/10/09
7:30 am-9:30 am
Harbor Club of Seattle. 801 Second Avenue, 17th Floor, Seattle

Government will play an increasingly important role in technology this year. In the federal stimulus package alone, some $19 billion is allocated for health-care information technology, some $44 billion is allocated to clean technology programs, and over $21 billion is allocated to other research and development. No longer is Washington, DC a place for just politicians-now it is a crucial destination for all technology companies, from startups and researchers to investment funds and established technology businesses. Speakers include Steve McBee, president of McBee Strategic Consulting, Josh Green, a partner with Mohr Davidow Ventures, and Jim Fulton, a partner at Cooley Godward Kronish. The event is free.
