Amazon Invests in Foodista

Seattle-based Foodista, an online cooking encyclopedia and wiki, has raised Series A funding from Amazon and other angel investors. The news was reported by PE Hub and TechCrunch, which said the amount of funding was $550,000. Foodista was launched in December by Amazon veterans Barnaby Dorfman and Sheri Wetherell.
