Opscode Closes $2.5M from DFJ

Gregory T. Huang4/24/09

Seattle-based Opscode announced it has raised $2.5 million in Series A funding led by Draper Fisher Jurvetson. Opscode isn’t talking about its new product just yet, but it looks to be helping businesses automate their cloud-computing infrastructure. The company, founded in 2008, will use the funds to hire engineers and other key staff as it gears up to launch its core cloud service later this year.
