Zango Shuts Down, Sells Assets

Bellevue, WA-based Zango, an adware maker that refocused its business on a toolbar gaming system last year, has officially closed down, says co-founder Ken Smith in his blog. San Francisco-based Blinkx, a video search firm, has acquired some of Zango’s assets, according to reports in ComputerWorld and TechFlash.
