SignaCert Closes $8.8M Series B

Portland, OR-based SignaCert, a maker of IT security and management software, announced it has raised $8.8 million in Series B funding. The round was led by existing investors including DCM, Intel Capital, and SmartForest Ventures, with new participation from In-Q-Tel and other strategic investors. SignaCert was founded in 2004, and has customers in financial services, government, and healthcare.
