Clean Tech Open Expands to Northwest

The Clean Tech Open, a nonprofit based in Palo Alto, CA, announced today it is expanding its 2009 business competition to include cleantech entrepreneurs in Washington, Oregon, and Idaho. The fourth annual competition will award $50,000 each to three winners in the Northwest, in addition to winners in California and the Rocky Mountain region. Regional winners will then compete for a national grand prize of $250,000. The Northwest chapter is based in Seattle and co-chaired by John Pierce.
