BuddyTV Upgrades, Adds Fantasy League

Gregory T. Huang3/6/09

Seattle-based BuddyTV has rolled out a fantasy league where TV fans can bet on a roster of contestants from reality shows like American Idol, Survivor, and Dancing with the Stars. The move is an effort to make the site, which is attracting more than 6 million visitors a month, more sticky. BuddyTV was founded in 2005 and is backed by Madrona Venture Group, Gemstar-TVGuide, and Charles River Ventures.
