Visualant Buys TransTech

Seattle-based Visualant (OTCBB: VSUL), a developer of light-based security and authentication technologies, announced today it is acquiring TransTech Systems, a Wilsonville, OR-based maker of identification and security products. Terms of the deal were not disclosed, but the acquisition is through a combination of cash and stock and is expected to close before the end of June.
