Frugal Mechanic Backed by Founder’s Co-op

Seattle-based Frugal Mechanic, an auto-parts search engine, has received seed funding from Founder’s Co-op, a peer-to-peer investment firm also based in Seattle, according to TechCrunch. The exact amount was not disclosed, but is between $250,000 and $500,000. Frugal Mechanic was founded in July 2008.
