CMC Icos Cuts 7.5% of Workforce

Luke Timmerman1/29/09

CMC Icos Biologics, a contract manufacturer of biotech drugs in Bothell, WA, has cut 11 jobs, or about 7.5 percent of its workforce, a company spokesman confirmed. CMC Icos will now have about 130 employees. It’s the second recent sign of hunkering down at CMC Icos: last month it said it is postponing plans to double its manufacturing capacity, because of the recession. The cuts have been added to the updated Seattle tracker, which you can read here.
