Planar Sells Sign Business to CS Software

Beaverton, OR-based Planar Systems (NASDAQ: PLNR), a maker of monitors and displays, announced it has sold its remaining interest in its CoolSign Digital Signage business to CS Software Holdings. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. In November, Planar sold part of CoolSign to Bally Technologies, for gambling applications.
