Gregory T. Huang1/7/09

Microsoft has dropped out of negotiations to lease 300,000 square feet of Seattle office space at 2201 Westlake in South Lake Union, according to a report in the Seattle P-I. The report says a Microsoft spokesman cited the economy and market conditions as reasons for the move. In 2007, Microsoft leased a total of 166,000 square feet of space in South Lake Union, Pioneer Square, and Union Station.
