The Washington Technology Industry Association will release the results of a year long project to document the history of the Puget Sound technology industry. Working with researchers at Virginia Tech and Seattle University, the WTIA has created the first picture of the foundational companies in the industry. Heike Mayer of Virginia Tech, Jeremy Jaech, the founder of Aldus, Vizio, and Trumba, as well as Ed Lazowska, the Bill & Melinda Gates chair of Computer Science & Engineering at the University of Washington, will be on hand to discuss the findings.
