Gregory T. Huang 11/10/08

Bellevue, WA-based utility Puget Sound Energy, announced today it has purchased 22 wind turbine generators from turbine manufacturer Vestas, which has U.S. headquarters in Portland, OR. The order is for an expansion of the utility’s Wild Horse Wind and Solar Facility in eastern Kittitas County, WA, and it accounts for most of the project’s $100 million budget. Initial construction is scheduled for mid-2009.
