NxtGen Emission Nets $15.4M

Burnaby, BC-based NxtGen Emission Controls announced today it has closed a $15.4 million Series B round, led by Denver, CO-based Altira Group. Other investors included Itochu, an undisclosed Japanese auto maker, and return investors Yaletown Venture Partners, GrowthWorks Capital, BC Advantage Funds, and Polygon Financial Investments. NxtGen Emission specializes in “syngas” technology for reducing emissions and optimizing combustion of diesel, biodiesel, natural gas, and gasoline.
