TriQuint Wins $4.5M Navy Contract

Hillsboro, OR-based TriQuint Semiconductor has announced it has won a 21-month, $4.5 million contract from the Office of Naval Research to manufacture high-power, high-frequency gallium arsenide amplifiers. The technology is used in radar, electronic warfare, and communications applications. TriQuint (NASDAQ: TQNT) is a maker of integrated circuits for communications, defense, and aerospace.
