The Pacific Northwest Center for Neural Engineering, an interdisciplinary center at the University of Washington, is hosting a workshop for researchers Oct. 9 to 11 at the Microsoft Campus in Redmond, WA. The aim of the group is to “address the most pertinent issues facing the neural engineering field as well as brainstorming sessions to identify regional strengths and weaknesses within neural engineering,” according to a description on its Web site. The meeting is hosted by UW professors Yoky Matsuoka, Rajesh Rao, and Desney Tan of Microsoft Research.
