Paul G. Allen Center for Computer Science & Engineering, University of Washington

The University of Washington’s Computer Science & Engineering department is holding its annual industry affiliates meeting on Oct. 23, with the following day for student recruiting. The event is a sort of “gong show” highlighting research at the school, says Xconomist Ed Lazowska, the Bill & Melinda Gates chair of the department. Major tech companies like Apple, Google, and Cisco Systems are registered to attend. For more information on how to register, click here.
