Google’s Jeff Dean, Featured Speaker at UW Computer Science Distinguished Lecturer Series

Google’s Jeffrey Dean, the co-inventor of MapReduce, will be the featured speaker at the University of Washington Computer Science & Engineering’s Distinguished Lecturer Series on Oct. 7. Dean’s talk will concentrate on “Research Challenges Inspired by Large Scale Computing at Google.” The talk will be videotaped for UWTV and be broadcast live on the Internet.
