I was just diagnoised with Osteoporosis yesterday. My mother is 36 years older than me and she has it also. I am caucasion, size 2,(fit profile to a tee). My new doctor wanted to throw me on Actonel. I declined. I was hired by Aventis to sell Actonel6 years ago; I was miserable after 2 months of training and quit. I am bored with "me too" drugs. The bone matrix Actonel builds has proven to be unstable. The reduced GI irritation with Actonel over Fosomax is minimal and the results are VERY close. I would rather take vitamin D, take great liquad vitamins with plenty of calcium and magnesium and lift weights and do yoga like I already do. Can I and/or my mother be part of you study? My sonshemotologist/oncologist is going to try to get me approved to be a part of some drug study that is in FDA testing stage currently. I am going to print off and take information to him next week after I read everything to see if he thinks Dmab could be even better.
