Aculight Acquired by Lockheed Martin

Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) has announced it is buying Bothell, WA-based Aculight for an undisclosed sum. Aculight, a 15-year-old laser and optical technology company with about 90 employees, will report to the Maritime Systems & Sensors division of Lockheed Martin in Akron, OH. The deal is expected to close in the third quarter of this year.
