San Bruno, CA-based Inquira, a maker of call center management software, has been acquired by Oracle, the Redwood Shores, CA-based database giant announced last night. The financial terms of the acquisition weren’t disclosed; Inquira had raised roughly $30 million in venture backing from Investor Growth Capital, Partech International, Sutter Hill Ventures, and Walden International. “The combination of Oracle and InQuira is expected to further extend Oracle’s leadership CRM [customer relationship management] with web self-service, customer communities and knowledge management capabilities,” Oracle said in a statement.
