VuClip Sees $8M

Milpitas, CA-based VuClip announced in a blog post that it has raised $8 million in Series C financing from New Enterprise Associates and Jafco Ventures. The company makes software that transcodes video clips for delivery to more than 5,000 types of mobile devices used around the world. The company said it will use the funds to “invest in back end development and technology.”
