StackMob Stacks Up $7.5M

San Francisco-based StackMob, which provides programming tools, analytics, and other services to mobile developers, said today that it has raised $7.5 million in new funding. New investor Trinity Ventures led the round, which was joined by existing investors Harrison Metal and Baseline Ventures. Trinity general partner Dan Scholnick has joined StackMob’s board. The company says it plans to use the money to hire more staff and expand its product to support additional mobile platforms.
