Catch.com Catches $7M

San Francisco-based Catch.com, maker of an online notekeeping application that competes with the likes of Evernote and Springpad, has raised $7 million in Series A financing, according to a report in Dow Jones VentureWire. Boston-based Excel Venture Management was the investor. Catch.com lets users capture and save notes and thoughts via browser extensions on PCs and iPhone, iPad, and Android mobile apps.
