$7M Shines on Solar Universe

Livermore, CA-based Solar Universe, a network of owner-operated companies specializing in the design, installation, and finance of residential solar power systems, said today that it has raised $7 million in Series B financing. Rockport Capital Partners led the round, which also included returning Series A investors. Solar Universe founder and CEO Joe Bono said the new funds will allow the company to expand its network and offer franchisees better tools and services.
