1/19/11

Scientific Conservation Inc. (SCI), a San Francisco-based maker of Web-based software that helps building managers monitor and control energy usage, said today that it has collected $15.65 million in Series B funding. DFJ Growth Fund led the round, which also involved DFJ Ventures and The Westly Group. Barry Schuler, managing director of DFJ Growth Fund and former chairman and CEO of AOL, has joined SCI’s board of directors. ”SCI is ushering in a new standard of energy management diagnostics and analytics for buildings,” Schuler said in a statement. “This funding underscores a strong year of milestones for SCI and global momentum for clean energy technologies that save money and protect the environment.”
