Y Combinator Adds Buchheit, Taggar as Partners

Y Combinator, the Mountain View, CA-based venture incubator, announced the addition of two partners today, the first to join its team since the outfit’s founding in 2005. They are Paul Buchheit, a former Google engineer who developed both Gmail and the original prototype of AdSense, and Auctomatic founder Harj Taggar, who has been advising Y Combinator startups and coordinating the group’s operations since early 2010. Y Combinator’s original partners are Trevor Blackwell, Paul Graham, Jessica Livingston, and Robert Morris.
