Social Gaming Network Wins $2.5M

Palo Alto, CA-based Social Gaming Network has collected $2.5 million out of a potential $3 million in venture funding from unnamed backers, according to a regulatory filing. The company makes mobile games for the iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, and Android devices that feature real-time competition between players; its titles include “Skies of Glory” and “Vampires vs. Werewolves.” Past investors in the startup include Columbia Capital, Greylock Partners, and Novak Biddle Venture Partners.
