StorSimple Socks Away $13M

Santa Clara, CA-based StorSimple, maker of an appliance that helps enterprises store data across both public and private cloud storage systems, said Monday that it has raised $13 million in a Series B venture round led by Mayfield Fund. New investor Ignition Partners and existing investors Index Ventures and Redpoint Ventures also participated. The latest round brings the company’s total venture funding to $21 million.
