VigLink Grabs Wheel at DrivingRevenue

Wade Roush8/3/10

San Francisco based VigLink, a maker of automated affiliate marketing software for Web publishers, said yesterday that it has acquired Chicago-based competitor DrivingRevenue. VigLink investors Google Ventures and First Round capital “more than doubled” their investments in VigLink in order to finance the acquisition, according to a blog post by VigLink CEO Oliver Roup. He called DrivingRevenue “the first to do automated affiliate marketing” and said the acquisition would bring VigLink, which came out of stealth mode in January, valuable new customers.
