$11M for GetJar

GetJar, a San Mateo, CA-based mobile app store, said it has wrapped up an $11 million Series B financing from Accel Partners. GetJar, which describes itself as the world’s second largest app store, is using the new cash to expand its offerings for mobile operating systems that are more open to app developers, such as Android, Blackberry, and Symbian, the company said its announcement of the deal.
