Alternative Funding Options for Life Sciences Entrepreneurs

While venture capital firms are the traditional source of funding for life sciences startups, there are many alternative financing opportunities. The Janssen Labs has invited representatives of the Michael J. Fox Foundation, the National Heart Lung & Blood Institute, the California Institute for Regenerative Medicine (CIRM), the State of Texas and Breakout Labs, a new initiative by the Theil Foundation, to discuss how startup founders and entrepreneurs can take advantage of some financing alternatives.
