Building the San Diego Cybersecurity Cluster

The San Diego area has initiated a number of initiatives, such as the “Securing our eCity” awareness campaign and the Cyber Security Institute of San Diego. A surge in cyber attacks on U.S. data centers in recent years has exposed the vulnerability of our infrastructure and demonstrated the need to protect financial, e-commerce, and government systems.
