The San Diego Biotechnology Network (SDBN) has arranged for Barbara Durrant, director of reproductive physiology at the San Diego Zoo Institute for Conservation Research and Becky Cyr, program coordinator for the Michelson Prize & Grants in Reproductive Biology to speak at its February meeting. The Michelson Prize and the Found Animals Foundation are sponsoring the event. The Michelson Prize & Grants in Reproductive Biology offers a $25 million prize and grants of up to $250,000 per year for scientists to pursue development of a single dose, permanent, non-surgical sterilant for cats and dogs.
