New Legislation Review: Patent Director David Kappos on the America Invents Act

Connect has invited David Kappos, director of the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), to be the featured speaker in a public policy forum entitled “A Review of the America Invents Act and its impact on the USPTO.” After six long years and numerous legislative modifications, the President signed the America Invents Act earlier this year. As the key agency tasked with implementing the new act, Kappos will provide his perspective on USPTO’s plan for implementing the new law and the agency’s efforts to facilitate the public’s understanding of regulatory revisions.
