M2M Wireless Sensor Technology

The CommNexus Emerging Wireless SIG has organized this event to examine the strategies, technological requirements, and available solutions for machine-to-machine (M2M) wireless sensor technology. From battlefield surveillance to healthcare monitoring, smart grid, and equipment monitoring, M2M technology has evolved a long way and is still gaining momentum. It is expected that this sector will grow to $300 billion in the year ahead. IDC, for example, forecasts 15 billion devices will be communicating over networks by 2015.
